Mrs. Tonya Stokes

Hello! My name is Tonya Stokes, and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at Independence Elementary. I attended Winthrop University where I received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. This will be my 28th year of teaching. I have a wonderful husband named Chris and a10 year old daughter named Christen. I love spending time with my family, reading mystery novels, and watching football. I’m looking forward to an exciting new school year!!
