Kelly Thomas - 5K Assistant

I am a native Rock Hillian. I live very close to where I grew up. I attended Rock Hill Schools, and Winthrop University. A fun fact about me, I was a 6^th grade student at Independence the first year it opened, which was in 1977. This will be my 27^th year with Rock Hill Schools. All my years, except one, have been here at Independence. It’s my 16^th year as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. I LOVE being in kindergarten and helping our youngest learners, as they Enter to Learn, and Depart to Lead. Now, a little about me,  I am married to Michael, have two grown children, both with families of their own, and I have five precious grandchildren. I enjoy trips to the beach, reading, being outdoors, and visiting my grandchildren. I look forward to having a great year!
