Hi, Patriots! I’m Jade Lavender, the K-2nd UP1 teacher. This will be my 8th year teaching the UP1 class in Rock Hill Schools, and my 2nd year teaching at Independence! I have always had a huge passion for working with children with disabilities and helping them grow into independent individuals!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 2 children with another one due in November! When I am not at school, you can find me spending all my time with my family, somewhere on a beach, or cheering on the Gamecocks in the fall at Williams Brice!
